Shepherd’s Hand is a non-profit organization, and extension of TMI. Our purpose is to help redirect the lives of young adults and women in crisis. This is done to bring them into a well balanced life that will allow them to live a healthy life style and find freedom in Christ.
Bishop Glenda McCorkle is the visionary for “Shepherd’s Hand”; a ministry that God gave her in June of 2003. She is continuing her family tradition of community service. Shepherd’s Hand is based in Hickory, North Carolina.
God uses people to help people, and our hands are the hands that He uses. Shepherd’s Hands is an umbrella for many facets of ministry, reaching out to the community as a whole, rebuilding, redirecting, and restoring life.
Ultimately, Shepherd’s Hand will help those who have been down trodden in life’s circumstances to reach and see their full potential in life and in the Body of Christ. Shepherd’s Hand is not exclusive to young adults and women. In addition, at-risk children of young adults and women are targeted through providing counseling, mentoring and temporary shelter.
Please be assured that you tax-deductible gifts and donations will be used to the greatest advantage possible as we fulfill our God-given mission.
